The shape of it
Belgium sits in the middle of Western Europe. London, Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne are each one train ride away, and Brussels is home to the main institutions of the European Union. This is a teacher-led rope festival at that crossroads: three days of rope for people travelling in from across Europe.
- Friday to Sunday, three tracks. Two rooms with suspension points, one floor-only room.
- Three or four workshop slots a day. Each named teacher runs at least three workshops, so you can follow one teacher across the weekend.
- Mix and match sessions every day, for meeting new partners.
- The remaining slots are unconference: anyone proposes a session on the day.
- Jams on Friday and Saturday evening, a party on Saturday night, a closing jam on Sunday.
- A small market for rope makers and local vendors.
For levels 1 to 3. Tops, bottoms and switches, in pairs or solo.

The deal
Crewing is optional. Crew one two-hour shift, on the door, the bar, the coffee station or the build, and your pass is €230 instead of €280.
It is run by a not-for-profit association. Any surplus stays with the association for the next edition.
If not enough people register
We book a venue only with 60 or more paid deposits by 30 November 2026. With fewer, we move the festival to autumn 2027 or cancel it. Either way, your deposit is refundable in full.
When tickets go on sale, the deposit is deducted from your pass.
